There's a switch mounted in the section over the refrigerator in our camper - not for the frig - we can't figure out what it does /what it's for.  Up or down it doesn't seem to operate anything.  Are we the only ones to have this mystery or are we just dumb? :-\

It may control a fan in the fridge compartment behind the fridge. Pull the access door behind your fridge on the outside. Look up and see if the previous owner installed a fan to help get rid of excess heat especially if the temperatures in that geographical area is high or if the sun beats on that side of the RV.

Hahaha this will probably not get noticed as a reply but I had to chime in because this is just too funny. What you're looking at is an LED light that is made to look like a switch. They're battery operated, mounted with 3M tape, and sold in many places mostly in the impulse buy section at checkouts.

They are actually quite useful for dark cabinets, closets etc. They probably put it there as a quick "walk around" light without using the trailer battery. Gently pry it off of the cabinet and you'll be able to get to the back of it to replace the batteries

Yeah, Harbor Freight sells those for about 3 bucks, sometimes free with another purchase....makes a great little light for emergency use, or before you get power turned on
