We are planning to attend back to back FMCA 4Wheelers rallies in Spearfish, SD and Moab, UT this fall and would like to take the most direct route between the two.

Is the route through Casper and Rawlins to connect to I-70 around Rifle, CO viable for a class A towing a jeep? I believe that portion that connects to is Colorado Highway  13, and not being a US highway does not have the normal assurances that a US highway would bring.

Anyone been that way in a big rig?

Thanks, Terry. We only get to about one or two events out west each year since we are based out of Florida. Look forward to meeting you in October.

Thanks Terry, good route info to have, as we may choose that route after a visit in the Black Hills this fall before heading to Moab rally. Hope to see you there.

We are doing back-to-back-to-back rallies in October with the FMCA 4 Wheelers , Moab/Utah Rolling Rally/St. George.

We have done that same route in both our previous 38' coach and our 40' coach and it is a nice route.  Quite scenic through that area.

We also will be in Moab the first of October for the FMCA 4-Wheelers rally.  Hope to see you there.

Mike.
