A cat & mouse tale...
« on: July 09, 2016, 08:55:13 AM »
This morning our cat Krissy was outside the motorhome, doing cat stuff. The screen door happened to be open, and suddenly she rushed into the coach carrying a mouse she had just caught! We had to gently explain that she had things a bit backward: she is supposed to catch mice INSIDE and carry them OUT, not vice versa!  :)

I suppose this means we will be battling mice when the weather turns colder in September, but at least we have a cat that hunts!  8)

Indeed she was!

She caught one inside last September, but before we could get it outside, she loosened her grip and it managed to get under a cabinet before she could grab it again. She spent the next 10 days lying in front of that spot waiting for it to come back and play some more! Apparently the mouse decided to find some less dangerous winter home, cause we never saw another sign of it.

I know where they get in, but would have to do major disassembly of cabinets to get at the place to seal it up. We just keep mouse bait near it instead.
