1999 Winnebago Brave - cannot fill gas tank all the way

while fueling gas nozzle keeps shutting off and cannot alway fill tank. Can only fill to 3/4th of tank?

Is it an F-53? Mine does the same thing. I can get it full if I take it real slow at the end. Pausing and rocking the motor home helps.
 
all f53's are that way,,, the fill tube goes in the side of the tank...last 10 gals take for ever...,.
the way ford fixed it was to make the gauge read full when it's 3/4 full... then if you stand the and keep clicking... you can put 10 more gals on

then you can run 100 miles or so on full...
 
Similar problem with Adventurer 35U, Chevy 8.1, W22 Workhorse chassis.  Very slow filling at many pumps.  Others can take it on slowest setting without tripping pump release.  Real pain to put in 75 gallons while holding pump handle instead of setting on auto
