Essentially Rv App?

Wondering what apps people find helpful for long trips in the RV.

Thanks in advance

I use RVparkreviews to choose a park I will need a reservation for. I have the app rvparks on my phone along with KOA and of course "Coach-Net" in case I have an issue with the TV or Fiver.

I think most RVers do have a smart phone and use it a lot, I doubt many rely on smart phone apps. Mainly because most all of us carry laptops with us and there isn't a point to using a cell phone app when a laptop is handy.
I would like to apologize to anyone I have not yet offended. Please be patient and I will get to you shortly.

We rely on AllStays Camp and RV app.  You usually get reviews, and phone numbers and web sites link right to your smart phone.

Used in on several cross country trips so far, and it's constantly updated.

x2 on Allstay's -- we usually call ahead using that app an hour or two before getting to where we want to stay, and it's ideal for that, since it has maps, as well as information on pricing, how many of what kind of individual sites, RV size limits, amenities and more. It also includes all types of sites -- forest service, state/nat'l parks, Walmarts, KOA, commercial RV parks, etc. and will even place the phone call for you once you decide.

But we also check it much earlier if we need to make reservations (not often). Of course at that time we usually also have the many web resources, but the Allstay's is our real go-to, since we can use it while driving.

Of course there are apps for road conditions, truck stops, both general and brand specific, as well as restaurants and most anything else you might need.

We use Google Maps on an ipad, size the map to your area then type in RV parks. Red dots pop up and can link to websites, reviews and phone #s. Great for finding anything you need, restaurants, gas, diesel, groceries, etc.

Instead of just sitting and doing nothing, get your co-pilot busy on the laptop and a Mi-Fi card and you'll be all set ! ;)

We use the AllStays Camp and RV app all the time. I know no one source has all campgrounds, but I find the AllStays app has more than the others, especially public campsites. It even shows BLM designated dispersed camp areas! I haven't used it east of the Mississippi, but it handles the Midwest and West very well. I like that I can click on a marker and get details about the campground - directions, how many sites, amenities, size limitations.

Allstays Camp and RV is very good east of the Mississippi too!

Also shows WalMarts, Truck Stops, RV repair centers etc.

Great App.

No MiFi, nor any desire for one. You do it your way and I'll do it mine...
