Found a leak while doing dishes. Drips behind the wheel well on drivers side of trailer. Past owner had a bead of silicone there. What usually leaks around the grey tank and how do we get to it? Ps, there is no obvious leakage inside the trailer and happens with only kitchen sink is draining. Thank you in advance

First... welcome to the RVForum! From what you've described, the leak could be caused by a crack in the sink's drain line, or a loose or broken fitting - either of which are probably above the level of the holding tank. If the leak were in the tank itself, it wouldn't leak until the grey water reached a certain level. Fortunately, a water line is often easier to repair/replace than a polyethylene holding tank, but the challenge is finding the leak and getting to it.

It sounds like the previous owners may have found the leak and made an ineffective repair. If that's the case, and you can get to the damaged area, I'd recommend cutting out the damaged section and splicing in a good section. If you can't see, or get to the leak, I'd recommend getting an extension mirror and a flashlight, and start following the drain line from the sink downward until you (hopefully) find it. You may have some access panels that can be removed to make the job easier, but being a good contortionist will help.  :) If you can't locate it, but you can see where the line attaches to the tank, it might be easier to disconnect both ends of the old line, run a new one and pull the old one out.

Sounds like a gray waste line is broken underneath somewhere, letting the sink water escape. Putting sealant on the outside fixes nothing - just traps the water within! It's probably not an actual broken pipe or tube. More likely a cracked fitting at a joint, or perhaps the point where it enters the gray waste tank. You (or somebody) will have to get underneath and hunt around. If there is a "belly pan" covering the underside, part of that will have to be removed or cut away.  The pan material can be re-attached and sealed up afterwards.
