Traveling to Canada - It is easy Just DON'T Lie
« on: August 17, 2016, 01:36:24 PM »
I know this has been talked about before, But I guess it needs to be talked about again.
For those of you that carry and want to visit Canada, we welcome you and there is a process to allow you to bring your guns with you. But what ever you do DON'T Lie to the border people they have no sense of humor and WILL take your guns and send you home.

The sad part is that the fee is only 25 Canadian dollars!

I feel bad for the two fellows from Texas that were just caught trying to hide things from the border guards. because with just about 10 seconds of internet time I was able to find the information I linked to.
I just hope they are not mad and will come back and visit Canada again.
We really are a nice place to visit. :)

That's very interesting!  I always thought that bringing guns, especially handguns, just wasn't allowed.

Me too but i saw a show where they cut through near Alaska and the people were shown packing the guns. Must be they had a permit.

It ain't worse then travelling to the USA... just don't lie at the border and don't bring your guns !
Here in Canada, we don't need to carry guns to protect ourselves, we are civilized and not racist at all.

The border officer did his job and a great one; we don't need your guns in our country.
In the past, I was nailed once at USA borders by bringing my own meat for my own supper ! Nothing dangerous compared to carrying guns !
