Just wanted to pass along a recall notice from Jayco.  If you have a 2016-2017 Jayco Eagle, Jay Feather, Jay Flight, Jay Flight SLX, Octane and White Hawk travel trailer with Sway Command system installed it defective.

Jayco trailers with the sway command system is connected to certain tow vehicles with factory installed integrated brake controllers a vehicle operator will lose trailer brakes after the sway system applies the trailer brakes during a sway event.  The loss of trailer brakes can result in a loss of control of the tow vehicle and connected trailer which could result in a crash with personal injury and or property damage.

Jayco has decided that the best way to solve this problem is to remove the system from the trailer or disconnect it so it will not operate any more.  When this is done, Jayco will send you a check for $375.00 once the dealer has removed the system.

Jayco advised me not to tow the trailer until I disconnect the system.  Call Jayco customer service if you have any other questions.
