Jeep's 75th Birthday
« on: August 13, 2016, 02:17:16 PM »
Today was the 75th birthday of Jeep.
Being in Toledo, OH it is quite a big deal.
Went downtown to watch the parade thinking that there may be a dozen or so Jeeps in attendance and to a huge surprise the parade lasted over an hour of continuous stream of Jeeps of all vintages.
Turned out to be one heck of a turnout for something that was put together at the ground roots level and short in time.

Here are just a few pictures - hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the pictures, seeing those old Jeeps brightens my day. I saw a rather ratty station wagon yesterday with a homemade 40's Willys front clip grafted on at a car show, talk about UGLY!! The owner, uh, let's just say he marches to his own drummer. ::)
