16.5 Dually change
« on: August 18, 2016, 08:07:13 AM »
Has anyone switched out a 16.5 dually wheel on a Chevy class C? 16.5 is nearly impossible to find. I would love to hear suggestions, thoughts, ideas, etc...
I'm very new to all of this and just need pointed in the right direction.
Thank you

Major tire stores like Discount Tire or Les Schwab should be able to get them for you, e.g. the Firestone Transforce 9.5R16.5.  I see them on Ebay too, and it is a common military vehicle size.

Here is some info on changing the size: http://www.barrystiretech.com/165tires.html

I'm having the same problem my 77"dodge has 16.5 and it needs new tires. Should I stay with the 16.5 that I can get or go with a 16" rim and tire change?
