I have a 96 Coachmen Santara Class C. Her name is The Love Shack.
She has a horrible 96 jack knife sofa in the slideout. I'm trying to decide whether to add foam under the slip cover I've put on it, or just take it out and replace it altogether.
If I replace it, I'm looking at rv furniture and it is so pricey and really not terribly attractive.
If I replace with standard furnishings what should I look for in terms of being able to secure it? I'm guessing it needs to contain some sort of metal at the bottom that we can use? And then the next concern is, can I bring the seatbelts (attached to the floor already) up through the couch (after making an opening for them) and use them?
