I have 94 Chevy G20 Conversion Van (New owner) and its has a build in VHS!!! and TV.

Both work but I want to replace the VHS player with a DVD player. There is already a DC12v connection for the VHS player and I love to continue to have the DVD player be connected to the original TV.

I been googling for ever but only 12v DVD player option I can find is this:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007WRPCN4/?m=AUMBQ90UXF356
So I bought one, worked for 1 day and that's was it. Quality is bad.

Any clue on other brands/options?

thanks

Sometimes you get what you pay for. Try this-

oh perfect. I believe that is exactly direction what I was looking for. thanks so much

Just pick up a portabial DVD player.  They have a av out jack.  Same as a headphone jack.  Just need a adaptor to go from the portabial player to standard av jack on the TV. Most come with it...

I ordered this one and works fine:
Soundstream VDVD-165

thanks all

I use one of those in my car as a CD player (Portable) 50 bucks at Dollar Generous..er, General when I got it.

NOTE: the A/V jack may be DIFFERENT from a headphoen.. Headphone jacks are 2 ore 3 wire (Stereo is 3) A/V is either 2 (Video only) or 4 Stereo audio plus Video)    Depending on the unit you buy the needed cord may be included in the box.

Another option is to use a standard household DVD player (110v AC) and install (hardwired or via lighter plug) a small inverter to power it.  Here's one example of a 300W model for $30.  A DVD player should use very little wattage, and I doubt that 300 watts would even be necessary if you wanted something slightly less expensive.
Don't even need that.  We use a 100 watt inverter on our TV and DVD player in my camper.  Draws less then 65 watts
