No hot water to my shower

I recently purchased a 2004 Flagstaff 228 popup camper. It had been sitting for a while so I am working on getting everything fixed up.

While camping this weekend, I went to use the shower and nothing would come out when I turned the hot water dial. The cold water worked fine. I checked the sink and I had very hot water coming out so the water heater was working. I have had hot water come out of the shower before so I am not sure why it just stopped working.

I was connected to the city water.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
 
I would remove the hot water knob then remove the stem. See if there is any kind of blockage insdide the valve body. Can you get to the backside often valve assembly? If you can, disconnect the water line for the hot water, stick it in a bucket and have someone turn on the water slowly.
 
I will give that a try. The shower head also stopped working so I removed that. I assume it had some blockage also.
 
You can also have someone turn on the water supply while you hold a rag or something over the stem hole or you may get wet.
