Las Cruces Chile Challenge 2016
« on: September 10, 2016, 08:55:00 PM »
A few of us will be pre running "Lost Boys" trail for the 2016 Chile Challenge on 24 Sep. My Best Friend and I will be leading a couple of trails for the Las Cruces club for them.

If anyone is in the area and wants to tag along, they are welcome, a lot of trails out their from mild to wild.

Will be camped at Percha Dam State Park.

We've wheeled in that area and there are indeed lots of good trails. I miss the former trails in the Las Cruces area.

Those trail are still open, just not to the Chile Challenge. We are planning a run in November, on Amatista Ledges.

What turned negative, Declaring the area a Wilderness Area, has really been positive, if it wasn't for that, we would not have the new trails North of LC, so really a win for 4 wheelers.

Yes John, great trails but they were hard on sidewalls?

Typical canyon trails but I don't recall any sharp flint-like rocks.
