So we're on our last trip driving for hours through Nevada, and occasionally we pass a historic marker. Much though I was interested in what they said, we really couldn't stop at each one of these (and some pullouts didn't have room for us anyway).
So I mention to my SO, "Someone should come up with an app that has all of these historic markers on a map along with your GPS location".
Well, turns out someone already thought of it (not surprisingly). The one I downloaded is called "Markers". Two bucks. Works great.
