I'm in New Braunfels. We looked at two places: Stone Creek and Hill Country. Stone Creek has a lower monthly rate but the metered electric rate is much higher. Hill Country has more amenities, but depending on where in San Antonio you're working, it's a commute. It takes DH about 30-40 min to make it to Schertz area. We compared with a friend at Stone Creek and in August, our electric with 2 A/Cs and washer/dryer came out at $130 while theirs was around $250 so pay attention to the kw/h rate! The overall cost for them and us was almost identical on a month to month basis when the electric was factored in. We had someone recommend checking out Greentree Village but never got around to looking at it.
