Title: Highway 101
Post by: schoolsout2 on October 03, 2016, 09:36:14 PM
We just finished the leg of our trip that took us down route 101 through Washington and Oregon.  We began in Forks, WA in the Olimpic Penninsula where we toured many parts of Olympic NP.  The trip down the coast turned into a wonderful, scenic adventure.  This was some of the most picturesque landscape we have seen. For those who advised us to take this route, thank you.  It was easy driving with many pull outs on the west side.

Now we head inland down CA.

Sorry Sarge, we have not had much service.  We cut over to Redding on 299 then  took 5.  We are now near Bakersfield.

Don't miss the Outlet Mall next to the truckstops on Laval Rd. at the foot of the Grapevine.   :)
