CAN YOU REMOVE CAMPER FROM THE TRUCK AT CAMPSITE ? do you need to block it or can you lower it

I had one last year initially thinking about going to Alaska but my DW had issues getting in and out of the bed so we sold it. In any case, we did go to Nova scotia with it and if we were going to stay at a campground anymore than 3 days, I would unload it and lower it all the way down just so it would be more stable. Otherwise, I would leave it in the truck.

I remove mine every chance I get. I usually use the Lego style plastic blocks, gives me a larger foot print for my jacks,especially if the ground is soft.
Some campers, usually non basement types/popups require the camper to be left on the truck as the floor is not strong enough to support the weight of people.
