Jacksonville FRVTA SHow 2/25-28
« on: February 23, 2010, 09:57:00 PM »
I will be working for Lazy Days at the Jacksonvill RV show starting tomorrow (2/24)  If attending look for me at the LD exhibit.  This is a nie one they handed to me, I have been retired again until we get to Yellowstone, but landed a temp gig at one of my previous customers car lots.  (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep), and an offer for the Fall when we return.  Nice place, seem to have a real good reputation too.

So, LD called me on my way up to drop off paperwork with the weekend deal.  I jumped at it.  Need to fill the bucket!

Hope to see some of y'all there.

my very first rv show, i was dissappointed. maybe expectations too high? i was looking for more vendors and accessories and technical assistance. lots of 5th wheels, and units to dream about. my wife and i just bought a 99 gulfstream sunvoyager and wanted some sheets, some tire covers, a fold down table conversion kit, and a new chair, we had cash on hand and credit cards ready to buy.....i think we bought some type of pink cleaner, thats about it. like i said, maybe my expectations were too high?

Go to a FMCA international rally or a Good Sam "Rally" & you will find all the vendors & maintenance you could ask for.

The FMCA International rally's this year are in Albuquerque, NM & Redmond, Or.
The Good Sam Rally is in Louisville, KY

There were sheet guys in the vendor area.  I was at Lazy Days exhibit, we were way down at the end.  Not a very good spot in my eyes.  We had from little trailers to a new American Heritage.  Most common comment had to do with the lottery.

I took a run thru the vendors, renewed my Passport camping card.  There are shows way way better to be sure.
