Found the following on another RV site:

"Norcold Book Fault Code shows "LI" "oP" meaning High Temp Limit Switch is open, not owner serviceable.

If you've had the most recent Norcold recall installed, go out and remove the external cover from the rear of the frig and see if the red LED is lit on the new high temp controller (black box). if so you need a new one installed. this is a very common problem, especially with the earlier versions of these black boxes used in the latest recall program. "

Hope this helps.

Looking in the Norcold 1200 Service Manual, I can't find an L1 Op fault listed. Are you sure you do not have a 1210? That has an L1 Op fault listed. You can get the 1210 Service Manual here:  http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/ncold1210.pdf

And the 1200 manual here: http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/ncold1200.pdf

The model 1210 L1 op reset differs depending on the model Earlier ones do not have a resettable switch, while later ones do. You have to rplace the switch if you have an older 1210 - the new switch will be resettable. See the l1 op procedures in the 1210 manual.

Here is some more info on checking out the new Thermal Sensor installed in the recall fix. Apparently it can cause an Li op fault too.

I can't thank you enough. We had the second recall fix installed in January this year and it's out. Error code "L!" and the refrig is warming up. Figures, were heading out next weekend. Hope I can get another one soon. Thanks again!

Others have stated that YOU cannot get this part, it has to be installed by an authorized  repair service.  However,  in a pinch it could be bypassed to allow the fridge to function temporarily but keep your eye on it!!!

The L1-Op code does not come from the external "recall" black box. That just has a red light on it to signal a shutdown. The L1 code is generated by the fridge controller circuit board, in response to its own overheat sensing. Late model 1200's and all 1210's have internal diagnostics for overheating, but apparently they were not reliable enough to prevent all overheat situations. Ergo the "recall" box was created and installed.
