Nogaard:
Hi guys I have a 99 Winnebago 38 ft Adventurer and when I plug in shore power my fridge shuts down and heater blows cold but when I switch to Propane they both work fine...
Is there someone here that may have had same problem with their coach? ???

Gary RV Roamer:
Your fridge automatically switches to electric when plugged in, but if its electric heat element is burned out or its fuse blown, you get no cooling. Start looking at the fridge control board (you didn't mention fridge make or model) for a fuse that feeds the electric heat element. If that's ok, I would suspect the heater element, though that's a rare failure in a fridge.

As for "heater blows cold", what heater are we talking about? Your furnaces are propane only and heat pumps (if you have them) are 120vac only. What heat source do you have that should work on both propane and electric?

ok found paper work on the furnac it is a suburban model sf-42

Just Lou:
As Gary said, your furnace is designed to work ONLY on propane.  Leave the propane line open and the furnace will work.

You need to do some further trouble shooting in the area of the refrigerator control board and electric heating element.  Open the exterior access door and start there.
