Testing Brake Buddy
Tom:
Loddy,
Instead of blowing the horn, get yourselves a pair of FRS radios ;D Ned makes a good suggestion re the dash indicator.
I'd be concerned about having the sensitivity on the BB set too high, and having "too much braking" on the toad when you go downhill; You're not trying to use the toad as a sea anchor to 'slow' the coach. IMO the Brake Buddy is there to stop the toad, not the coach.
Chet18013:
I've got the BrakeBuddy and remote indicator. The remote indicator is a must to get it adjusted correctly.
Gary RV Roamer:
If you can feel it in the seat of your pants when the toad brakes, the gain is set too high. You should never feel the toad pulling back on the coach, i.e. acting as a sea anchor. By the way, that's a great description of excessive toad braking, Tom.
loddy:
All I want is a little help and I don't think I am getting it (from the BB not the Forum)

Tom:
Loddy, just curious if you found an answer to this one ???
