The Closer

tstumpf:
Any other fans of "The Closer"? This is one of my favorite shows. I've waited forever for the new and last season to begin, and missed the episode that aired on July 16th, because the RV park doesn't have TNT.

Never fear! We're in a hotel this week, so I can use their internet to watch the missed episode. NOT! You have to have a television provider and have an account with them, because of an agreement TNT made with television providers. You need your user name and password to sign in before TNT will allow you to watch their episodes. Supposedly, you pay for that privilege through your cable bill   >:(

I am so bummed!!!

I guess I do not understand. TNT is a network with a business model using pay tv services through cable or satellite suppliers. If you were able to watch for free where is the incentive for anyone to subscribe?

Tom:
Another big fan of The Closer. I also watched the recent Piers Morgan interview with Kyra Sedgwick; She really undersold herself in the interview.

The incentive would be, you really want to watch the show you missed! So the way I understand it, if your television provider is Comcast, and you miss an episode, you can only watch it by logging in with a user name and password that Comcast provides for you. The privilege to view the episode is part of your television charges. You used to be able to watch it for free. What is this world coming to???

Maybe she wasn't on her game because she's depressed she's quitting!

She hasn't worked in a year. I'd love to see here in a sequel series.
