Dometic RM2652 fridge won't stop igniting

I have a Dometic RM2652 fridge in my TT that runs fine on Ac and ignites on propane, but the igniter won't stop clicking, even after the propane is lit.

Would this be a thermocouple problem?  I originally thought it might be, but if it didn't sense that the pilot was lit, it would shut off.  In my case, the propane stays lit and continues to run, but the charge from the igniter continues to fire for as long as I keep the fridge on and connected to gas (I've left it for as long as 20 minutes).

I appreciate any thoughts on this matter.

Sounds to me like there might be a relay stuck closed on the circuit board.

I have a new fifth wheel, coachman Brookstone. I had the hardest time getting the fridge to stay on while on propane. It would ignite and ignite but wouldn't stay on. I checked the valve for the propane just under the unit and found that it wasn't open. Walah. The frdige has worked perfectly ever since. I hope this helps.

Tim, the igniter is supposed to quit after several tries. Whether it lights or not. This is controlled by the fridge's circuit board, so it sounds like that may be defective.

I had the same problem. I first replaced the circuit board - didn't help. Then I replaced the electrode - didn't help. Finally I replaced the re-ignitor. The solved the problem

THERE IS A "WIRE " SENSOR THAT IS SUPPOSED TO SENSE THE FLAME. IT COULD BE BAD OR DIRTY, CLEAN IT , TRY AGAIN . IF THAT DOESNT WORK IT WILL BE THE BOARD OR RE-IGNITOR
