For those times when you'd like to know if it's less expensive to run an appliance such as a water heater on electricity or LP, forum member Clay Lansdown created this neat little program.
Download the .zip file here and unpack it to get the install file. Run the install, a folder will be created on your computer, and a shortcut will be added to the start menu, unless you tell it not to. Note that no registry entries will be made.
To use the program, simply enter the cost per KWH of electricity and the efficiency of our electrical appliance (the program provides a suggestion), then click the Calculate button .
