LPG appliances not working

edited by Tom Jones

If none of your LPG appliances (water heater, refridgerator, stove) come on when switched to LPG, here are a few things to check. The list was provided by forum members in response to a question from a forum member who was experiencing this symptom.

  • Check the LPG gauge to verify the tank is not empty.
  • Check that the main LPG switch is turned on. Note that this switch will sometimes be found in or near the LPG bay if your RV has bays.
  • Try resetting the LPG alarm, usually located near the floor inside the RV. It's intended to shut off the LPG flow when it senses a leak, but it will sometimes be triggered by a voltage spike.
