Repair broken strap for pocket doorby Tom Jones
Forum members came up with these solutions for a forum member who had a broken strap that stows a pocket door while moving.
- The straps are pretty easy to make yourself. You can buy the strap material (available in different colors) and the snaps at hardware or fabric stores. You'll need a tool to attach the snaps, either one that looks like a pair of pliers or a cheaper solution that you merely hit with a hammer.
- Most any marine canvas/upholstery shop could make you one in a jiffy.
