Crock pot turkey & veggies

by Helaine Hepworth

  • About a cup each of fresh carrots, celery, Onions

  • One or 2 potatoes cubed

  • A frozen turkey thigh

  • 1 cup frozen mixed veggies

  • 1 cup water mixed with a turkey gravy mix

  • Low for 6-8 hours

  • Give it a good stir and the meat will fall of the bones

I often put the crockpot outside on a small table when we have electric available. That way the smells are not so tempting. Not when we are driving, of course; Then the pot is in the sink, but oh, it smells so good!
