Beef, sauerkraut & gravy

  • 1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 boneless beef pot roast, about 3 pounds
  • 1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 pound sauerkraut, can or bag rinsed, drained and squeezed as dry as possible
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 envelope gravy mix

Place all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 9 to 11 hours.

Serves 6.
