Barb's Meatballs and Noodles

I like to keep things simple.

Heat up the oven, Dutch oven or whatever you are going to bake the biscuits in good and hot. For you Martha Stewart types, that's about 450 degrees.

  • 1# ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • onions to taste
  • salt & pepper
  • bread crumbs

Add milk to moisten.

Mix & form meatballs, brown in small amount of oil

Add a package of brown gravy, and onion soup mix.

Add 2 c. of water.

Add a teaspoon to tablespoon of beef soup base (for flavor) if necessary.

Simmer about 30 mins.

Serve over your favorite noodles. For this we like the x-wide.

You can get away with browning the meatballs if you cook them in a slow cooker. And double or triple the receipe.

Make you meatballs any size you want.

Tweak with you favorite indgs and seasons.

When I freeze this I put the meatballs around the sides and the noodles in the center.

Cover with the gravy.
