    Walleye Fishing

I know this thread is old but I thought I would update the walley situation for us "Up North" fisherman. I just got back from a week of fishing on Lake Vermilion (Northern MN) and the bite has slowed down a bit.  We only averaged 2 fish per day - less than 1/2 of normal. They seem to prefer the...

    30AMP powercord adapter

I did find the right adapter at a local RV store, they want $66.00 for it. I would be better of cutting off the twist lock and wiring on a female plug to make an extention cord.  I also checked out West Marine, I did not see the exact adapter there but it looks like a good place to find other...

    30AMP powercord adapter

I checked Camping World and several other places, no luck. Camping world had a good selection, not exactly what I needed. I need a male twist-lock style that converts to a female standard style.

    30AMP powercord adapter

Does anyone know where I can get an adapter (online preferably) that will connect a 30amp twistlock style cord to a regular (2 post+ ground) powercord? I have 2 of the same cords but I would like to connect them together. They both have one female twistlock end and one male normal style end. ...

What States Can You Pull Two Trailers and newbie questions?

Case in point: Minnesota just passed a new law this year stating that the fifth wheel trailer cannot be longer than 28ft. when tandem towing. Overall length is now 70 ft, but thats not much help with the camper length restriction. My buddy just went to a D.O.T. class this week and found out...

    Hello from MN

Hi from the new guy in MN. Can't wait to get out of the deep freeze and do some camping and fishing! My 05 Cherokee 285BH is my first fifth wheel (previously a TT owner). See you at the campground! - I'll be the guy drinking a beer telling fish stories... ;D

    Fifth wheel install.

I did my own install on my GMC, wasn't bad at all. Give yourself a full day and a good set of jackstands. The trickiest thing about it is finding a 17/32" drill bit that is required for the install. Make sure you have one before you start - they are hard to find. I actually had to get one at a...

Triple-towing question about hitches behind the Fiver

Back to the original question, has anyone here fabricated there own receiver hitch for their 5er? I am seriously considering welding my own custom setup. Seems to me you would have to modify any out of the box type hitch anyway, so why not just do it from scratch?
