    Furnace removal

Since you have it out. Make sure bearings are good in fan motor. If not, now is a good time to replace the motor. Also, remove burner cover and give the burner a good cleaning. I replaced blower motor a few years ago and just last fall when it would not light I took it apart and had to give it...

    Furnace removal

I have a 99 gas unit. Furnace is on the other side of the coach just forward of the door to access water tank. At first glance I also thought that there is no door to get at the furnace. I found that there is a door just a little more difficult to open. After removing intake and exhaust plate...

    Motoraid hoses

We have a 99. 35 foot. Heater is under the bed. I looked at as much of the hoses that I could see. They still look fine. You should be ok at that age. I'm not looking forward to replacing such a huge length of hoses but having hot water when you get to where you are going is nice Dale

Bar Harbor on July 4 wknd

When we first got our motorhome we would go to Nascar races. Since we are still working, a trip would be just for an extended weekend. Drive non stop to the track, enjoy the races, and then drive non stop to get home. We were never able to enjoy the journey. The races started to get a little...

    Coffee maker removal

We have a 99 Adventurer. I was able to remove the coffee maker. If you look carefully you will notice that the bottom shelf in the cabinet is just a thin piece of plywood that is not secured. Carefully pry the false bottom up to reveal the screws and then just replace the plywood. Hope this helps

    Roadtrek Ranger RT?

Does anyone have any experience with the Roadtrek Ranger model?  Just wondering with the reduction in price but no propane, is this model worth considering? It says it has a smaller engine and with the lack of propane and such, gets better gas mileage.  If you have any experience with this...

    Dog question at Syracuse

We will be attending the Good Sam Rally Syracuse. Although dogs are welcome, they even have a dog show, we are concerned that while browsing through all the buildings we would have to leave the dog in the RV. We don't want to leave her cooped up all day. There is no electricity so we are worried...
