A few favorites so far from 2016

There is nothing like "pro" glass.  It's all about the GLASS!  Bodies are the "throw-aways".....razors are the throw-aways......razor blades are what you pay for.....GLASS is what you pay for. I didn't see any light-weight point-and-shoot watchamagigic on the moon landing, did you? It was...

    Prayers needed

I do wish for the best outcome.  Some day, I know cancer will be a thing of the past and I hope that day comes soon. Regarding "the truth about cancer" link previously, I clicked on it and I went to a website that wanted me to enter my name and email to get FREE, the truth about cancer.  If...

    Gate Guards

So the first email was sent 30-sep-2014 to start 6-oct-2014. Must have been a big demand for guards! I would rate the "unknown" company and those associated with it an "L". "L" for "LOSER".  My opinion but still "LOSER"! Just my $0.02. 75sling

It's time for a new tow vehicle & would like your input

Thank you all for the input. I am towing with a 2004 fleetwood discovery dp.  So weight should not be an issue. Regarding the Jeep, Honda or Suzuki, are any modifications needed or can the vehicle be towed as is? Thanks Sal

It's time for a new tow vehicle & would like your input

Hello I've been towing a 2000 Honda Civic 4 wheels down as is, without any mods and can't say enough about it.  I've had zero tow issues.  It has 199k miles and starts every time. Although I'd like to use it as long as possible, I'm in the market for a "used" tow vehicle that I can tow 4WD...

Comments on a documentary on Ansel Adams - Open for discussion

Adams was a technical photographic genious.  From "pre-visualization" to the zone system to modifying and developing formulas for his developers, he was able to produce images he pre-visualized in his mind, before he released the shutter.  Being surprised that Adams manipulated his images is...

    Shooting snowflakes

Again, awesome! My favorite is #9823. So are you letting the flakes fall on that sheet of glass, focusing and shooting? It also looks like you are using your flash along side your lens.  Are you lighting at all from below? Thanks Sal

Just BEAUTIFUL as nature is.  Lovely.  I really enjoyed the photos. Are we allowed to ask you to share with us how you took the photos? I, for one, would like to learn. Thanks, again for sharing. Sal
