Forgot to empty hot water tank…

If the OP didn't drain the tank last season and there is still water in it there is a very good chance the tank did not crack. He can check by cracking the relief valve, or better yet pull the drain plug and see if water comes out. Then, re-plug, fill it with water preferably by city water...

Lots of prep for a trip

Butch, I just leave it all in the rig so I'm prepared for wherever we land up. Our trips tend to be half planned, and half what's down the road.

Great looking camper, and I especially like your tables. You must be a pretty talented woodworker.

    Hello From CT

Just remember if you do forget to pack something, Walmart is never far away unless you are in Siberia, lol. As you gain experience with your rig and your travels start to become longer in days on the road and farther from home try to determine what items you can leave in your camper to shorten...

    Motor home size considerations

Our recent Spring Southern States trip took us along US90 through Biloxi, MS, and Gulfport. We decided to overnight at a really nice Walmart in Gulfport. Still, somewhat early on a beautiful early Spring day we decided to drop the car off the dolly and find a waterfront place for dinner. Our...

    Motor home size considerations

There have been a few times we have left the dolly and toad at home and rented cars at our destination. I agree that cost might be a washout regarding $$$, decreased fuel mileage was the largest determining factor for us in the past However, I don't know if that would be the case now with our...

Lots of prep for a trip

Good to hear the first trip went well. As far as tweaking goes we've been at this for 16 years and we are still tweaking! LOL. After our recently completed two-month trip I have found myself once again going through my closet and tossing out stuff I haven't worn, cleaning out the under-bed...
