I noticed my Ford F53 1999 Bounder motorhome transmision slow to get going and sort of stalling and when accelerating somewhat of a jerking motion .After shifting to 2nd gear does fine. Just slow jerking start.

Cannot get a/c compressor on dash to come on.
Checked every fuse on motorhome all good
Bypassed pressure cut out switch
Put 12 volts on compressor clutch,it kicks in

You are absolutely correct, not finding replaceable detector. I installed a new gas/co alarm in old detectors place. I'll take your advice and remove solenoid. I also replaced every detector and installed more.
