    Health Insurance

Hi All The allowance is for every one, and low earners benefit, as they will pay very little or NO taxes. Whilst it may not be paradise, it certainly does work, don't for get if you do not work or have retired you still are seen to know matter what is wrong with you, also you do not have to pay...

    Health Insurance

Gary Yes, that's 32% but like I said you do not start paying until you have earned a certain amount, so it is not as bad as it sounds, that applies both for income tax and national insurance, you have an initial allowance before you start paying.  So while on the face of it 32% sounds a lot, it...

    Health Insurance

Hi All Also note that you are still able to have medical attention when you are unemployed and not paying your taxes, as this is part of the NHS system, it covers you when unemployed and retired.  Also unlike insurance companies, when if you have a long standing or serious condition, the NHS...

    Health Insurance

Hi Gary The taxes are nit that bad, basic tax is 20%, but that's only payable after the threshold of about ?4970, and National Insurance is 12%, again there is a threshold before you start paying the 12%, you can google PAYE and this site will advise you on how much tax and NI you will pay on...

    Health Insurance

hey Guys The NHS is not all bad here in the UK, it is free, and can be quick at times. You can call your doctor first thing in the morning, and see him/her within an hour.  You can be referred to a specialist within a few weeks. If you need any medication your doc gives you a script and you pay...

    RV weights

Gary We are intending to retire next year, some years early as I am 50, to fund the retirement we are going to sell our large family home (no children now as they are all grown up and moved away) then we are going to purchase 3 smaller homes to rent out. We then hope to live on the rental...

    RV weights

Hi Gary The 2012 Thor Motor Coach A.C.E. EVO 29.1 W/Slide-Out also weighs the same as the Miranda, so if you can advise the total gross weight unladen, then these would be ideal.

    RV weights

Hi Alfa38User The Mirada says it weighs 16000 lbs see brochure that's 7.25 tons, a full tank 75 gallons weighs 0.20 tons so if I had half a tank and took only clothes necessary (buy rest when arrived at destination) I would be fine, but could do with something a bit less than 16000 lbs, looked...

    RV weights

Hi Tom Yes, unfortunately the rules have changed, but I think there must be an A class vehicle out there that complies, as there are a lot of A class RV's over here, and I am sure not all the owners have a HGV class C.  Like one of the previous replies on this subject, a friend has a 1998 32 ft...

    RV weights

Tom Thanks for that information. I would like to try to find a RV at the weight under the 7.5 tons, as you noted the maximum weight here in the UK applies to the vehicle fully loaded, so fuel has to be taken in to account as well as the normal things you would stock your RV with for a trip...
