    Coleman Roof Air/Heat pump repairs

I have a 2011 WB Adventurer with two Coleman units on top.  Every fall, I take off the plastic covers on them and vacuum out all the leaves, bugs etc.  This year, the cover on the rear one caught on the refrigerant line from the compressor and pulled it loose from the evaporator.  It lost all...

    2011 Adventurer Jacks

I did nothing to the system but think I have managed a fix without a visit to the accursed dealer.  I used the jacks to get the rig off its' tires and level according to a carpenter level on the floor in the middle of the rig.  Each jackpad had the same level of shoring under it.  I then did...

    Canvas slide top product review

Just a month on the awning coating and we have had two instances of heavy "sideways rain".  Didn't leak a drop.  Happy so far.

Unreliable Ideal Rest bed is gone ... ?

Ditched my Sleep Number from the 2011 Adventurer 5 years ago.  If a pressure change was needed at night the sound of the bladder pump would awaken me.  Bought a custom memory foam mattress and haven't looked back.  The nice folks at  Winnebago thought more of weight and manufacturing $$ than...

    Canvas slide top product review

Not sure where this might fit in the forum but here goes FWIW. We have all seen the Flex Seal commercials on TV ad infinitum but the stuff actually appears to work on worn canvas roller covers that top sliders to keep water off the slide top.  I used black which matches the cover material and...

    2011 Adventurer Jacks

Thanks John.  I think my filler must be somewhere around the drivers door as that is where all the racket comes from when the key is turned on.  My operator manual wasn't too specific on it's location and I hate getting under that rig to find stuff Jim

    2011 Adventurer Jacks

To all: It is an HWH 625/2000  system according to the Operator Manual Supplement.

John, I am not sure, I will look when I get home and get back to you.

    2011 Adventurer Jacks

Two of the levelling jacks on the unit won't stay down and drift up after auto levelling has been used.  They don't go all the way up and no fluid leaks can be seen.  Wiped all the jackshafts off with a clean rag and WD-40 and again, no leaks were found. Where do I add or check the fluid in the...

    Onan Generator

It's running!!  I checked the two battery switches near the inside steps of the coach (the ones that are easily activated by clumsy feet).  Found two things.  When I switched them from off to on, it took several tries to hear the click of that solenoid one of them controls in the electrical...

    Onan Generator

The accursed generator is an Onan RVQV 5500.  I did manage to get one of the plugs out.  Clean, dry, no evidence of gas or oil on it.  BTW, you need 3 elbows one one of your arms to get a plug out of this thing.  I am warming it to see if that will make any difference,.
