Hello, We will be in Seattle next week and are courious if there are any recommendations on places to stay.  We could like to keep it under $35 a night and have full hookups.  We do have 2 small kids and like trees, trails, playgrounds, etc, but like being close to stores, libraries, etc even...

I don't know if renting your house out is an option or not, but that's one way we help cover some of our full timing expenses.  Our mortgage is just over $1000 and we rent it for $1400 a month.  Camping fees and gas will be your biggest expenses probably.

  :-\ While hauling our 34' 5th Wheel into Bryce Canyon NP, we made a stop and noticed that the breaks on our F350 were smelly and smoking, but only on the right side.  Driving in had very steep grades.  There have been a couple of times since when we weren't hauling, just driving the truck...

Wendy, How far is Death Valley from Sam's Town?  I looked it up at one point and it said it was over 2 hours away!  Would love to go there on a day trip!

We arrived at Sam's Town in Las Vegas today.  Seems okay so far for only $25 a night. I would heed the advice on coming in summer.  It's April and 101 in the heat of the day!
