Count me among them guitar players here.  Been playing since I was in the 4th grade.  Guitar?  Don't leave home without one!

    Voyage-Air Folding Acoustic Guitar

Hey, I just got an eMail from Voyage-Air Guitar (yeah, I own one), and they're a small company trying to get some exposure. They asked to pass along to friends about their updated Facebook page, so that's what I'm doing here.  They update it daily (or more) with stories pics and videos...

    Guitars and RVs ?

You're kidding!  What festival was this, and where?  Those guitars are hard to find in stock anywhere these days!

    Music Festivals this Summer?

Anyone here going to any Music Festivals this summer?  My wife and I just got back from the California Bluegrass Festival in Grass Valley, CA.  We both took our guitars (and she her fiddle too), and just had a blast.  It was 4 days of big-name music, and informal music jams with friends, and...

    Need RV Size Musical Instrument

Here's a vote for Voyage-Air guitar.  Full-size acoustic guitar that folds in half, and fits into a backpack case.  I used to take a full-size guitar in the 5th wheel (packed standing-up in the shower), but the Voyage-Air is just so darn handy. It comes with a back-pack case and the guitar with...

Chromatic tuner for your Android device

If you have an iPhone (or an iPad), check out GuitarToolkit.  I think it's freakin amazing.  It's a tuner, and has settings for 6-string, 12-string, Uke, Banjo AND alternate tunings (drop-D, etc.) It also has a metronome, scales, and a chord finder. It's $10.  I put it on my iPhone, and then...

    Guitars and WD-40

Okay, this is the weirdest thread I've seen in a long time.  WD-40 is mostly kerosene (lots of oil).  And oil is one thing you want to keep away from guitar strings and guitars in general.  None of this makes any sense. And agree with Johncmr: the C#m chord (and its derivatives, like Bm) are...

    Guitars and RVs ?

A reply on this thread made me realize: I've had the Voyage-Air folding guitar for almost a year.  It has never given me a bit of trouble and I play it a lot more than I thought I would. Just going to hang out with friends or for church strum-alongs, I can throw it in the car and it doesn't take...

    Banjo uke or banjolele shopping

Tom - FYI, Gold Tone instruments were formerly made in Korea, now mostly in China.  I got a chance to play most of their stuff at a recent NAMM Show (National Assoc of Music Merchants).  Across the board, I think they're a good value for the money.
