    Cavitation Symptoms

FleetGuard (the maker of DCA4, a type of anti cavitation SCA) has test strips to tell the concentration of the SCA charge.  The strips come with a color chart on the package and they are easy to use.  Simply dip the test strip into a sample of the coolant you want to test and compare the strip's...

To add the what Charles said, there are anti foaming additives that can be added to the oil.  The additive can usually be found at an International dealership due to the type injectors used in the IH engines.  Silicone (RTV) will cause oil to foam also.

How do I find the tow rating of my 15 year old vehicle?

Tom, In my case I had to change the fuel filter (a dark slimy filter is a sure sign of algae) two times before the problem was solved.  Fortunately I had bought a case of Racor filters from DIS (Diesel Injection Service) before the prices on filters went so high.  I have about $5.50 in each...

New to forum, first post.  I have a 97 F350 dually with PowerStroke.  I'm looking to buy a used 5th wheel sometime in the future.  We had a motor home when the kids were young but don't want to go that route again.  Will soon be empty nesters and the 5th wheel looks as if it would suit our...
