I'm planning on replacing the unit myself.  Searched the site but did not come up with any other posts on how to do that. Anyone have a guide or instructions on what I'm looking at in swapping out the Coleman Mach 15 upper unit?

Well, I've made up my mind.  I'm going to replace the whole unit with a Coleman Mach 15. I went up today and when I touched the aluminum cooling fins, they disintegrated!!  Totally corroded.

Thx Wacky.    But if it was the start capacitor that was the problem would the squealing go away when WD40 is applied? Also, before I apply WD40 when it is squealing, the fan is 'sticky' when turning by hand.  After WD40 the fan is spinning freely. Do those symptoms point to a capacitor?

The only reason I was thinking about replacing it was the RV tech quoted 65 labor, 80 service visit, and 170 motor.  At $315 plus tax it seemed closer to go for a full replacement. I have since found the motor on Amazon for 109 plus 14 shipping.  $123 and I do the replacement myself seems...

My AC unit is 13 years old.  At about $180 for a replacement blower motor, would it be better to spend $750 and get a whole new Coleman Mach 15 15,000 BTU unit?

How is adding some SCA to your radiator complicated?  When you change your oil, add the SCA to the radiator. The Special Cooling Additive information is in your owners manual under maintenance.

I have a washing machine in a cargo trailer.  I'd like to have the washer drain down a garden hose and go into the sewer connection.  I have an available 3 inch sewer line in the ground, with the standard threaded mouth. Is there a cap for that sewer hole that accepts a garden hose on top?

And I just handcracked it up using the cable ratchets.  Cost about $30 bucks in parts.
