Thanks for sharing. Very nicely done. I'm looking forward to the next video.

Going to Alaska this year and a couple questions

Also remember that if you switch to golf cart style batteries there are some wiring changes to be made. Not a big deal but if you decide to do it, they are not directly interchangeable.

    Appliances

Thanks, I ordered one and I'll see how it works. Looks like it will work for hotel rooms also. Their coffee is usually terrible.

What are you folks using for a grinder? I have a Rocky at the house but it is a little to big and heavy to bring along.

Ice maker leak, filtered water faucet too!

Don't know the name of that fitting but if you push that grey ring up towards the faucet it will release the tubing. There are teeth inside holding it in place and an O ring to seal against the tubing. Try pulling it out and cutting off an inch or so and reinsert it. Use a razor blade as you...

Help finding 12 volt ground on slideout.

One other thing to keep in mind is that it takes very little current to satisfy a volt meter. You can have a loose or corroded connection that will still read 12volts on the meter but won't support a bulb. I keep a tester made out of a bulb and socket with a couple of wire leads for this type of...

Rear Seat of a Crew Cab. What do you do with it ???

The back seats in our Ram fold down and become a flat cargo area. They stay down unless we have someone else with us. Which is rare. We have a black moving blanket folded to fit and use the area for everything from groceries to golf clubs.

Question for a 2016 Forest River Wildwood owner or tech

A picture of the light would be helpful, but from your discription it sounds like what we have in our basement storage area. Try sliding the lens along the long axis away from the switch end.

    Vaccu Flush Toilet System Leaking

John, it sounds like you have a leak after the vacuum accumulator pump and before the tank. Check the hose fittings on the downstream side of the pump and the inlet to the black water tank.

Propane stove in RV will not lite

Not sure what type of gauge you have but I just had a similar issue with a patio heater. New bottle of propane and tried to get the heater to light. Nothing. Took the top off and used my portable Combustible Gas Sniffer to see if there was any flow at the pilot. Nothing. Took the inline gauge...

Ham antennas - towers, masts, beams, wires - what do you set up?

I use an Alpha J Pole wire antenna on a Flagpole Buddy 16' pole with their easy mounting system on the ladder. Coax leads to a junction box with a SO239 under the slide. I can put it up in about 10 minutes. The pole collapses to five feet and lives in the basement. Only need one point to tie it off.

    Y adapter

I think what you are saying is that you plan on plugging into the receptacles on the face of the inverter from shore power. This won't work!! What inverter did you install? I have over 26 years as the owner of a yacht electrical service and did ten years before that doing house wiring for a...

    Down the oil filler.

Another good vacuum trick is pulling string through new conduit to run wire. I use parachute cord and then pull the wire bundle with that. Just remember to tie off the far end or you'll end up with a ball of string in your vacuum.
