Thanks folks. I may indeed stop in from time to time...just to make sure you're all behaving yourselves...and join in when you're not. 8)

    Hasta la Vista, Amigos...

Since we moved back to Washington in 2012, the WA coast has been our "get away" location, co, as I talked about briefly, (or not so briefly) in Dec. 2018, we sold our house in Bremerton and moved full time to Ocean Shores. (with all the good and bad that brings) So...since we now "live in...

    Gas is (almost) free

I wish...we?re on the Washington coast. The cheapest gas within 20 miles is $3.29...$2.95 at the closest Costco...which is about 70 miles away.

Has anyone sold their home to go full time in an RV?

It?s been an interesting couple of weeks...weather-wise. When we started this...adventure, it was cold...down into the 20s at night. Since then, much warmer...and a helluva lot of rain. (Washington coast) This morning, windy again...gusts over 50mph. Not quite what the old sign meant when it...

    Extend-A-Stay type of LPG connectors?

I ended up buying this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X1C59X1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Arrived the day we pulled out. It's still in the box on the floor board of my pickup...and since we're probably going to sell this thing come spring, the propane adapter will...

Has anyone sold their home to go full time in an RV?

Well...we're 2 weeks i to our "extended winter camping trip" to the Washington coast. IMO, this 30' Sightseer is too small for full-time use, but we're making do. HOPEFULLY, the new house will close by next weekend...then we can start the process of carpet cleaning,  cleaning the house, then...

    Extend-A-Stay type of LPG connectors?

<sigh> you?re right,  of course...I?m just lazy...and with having tp pack and move...I?m up to my armpits in alligators...and the darned swamp still isn?t draining... ;D

    Extend-A-Stay type of LPG connectors?

Yes, I?ve seen lots of them, at Amazon and elsewhere...just asking about connecting them. I was HOPING that I simply connected them to the rv?s tank fill connector.

    Extend-A-Stay type of LPG connectors?

Looks like we're not going to be able to close on a new house before we have to move out of this one... :o It looks like we're going to be in the RV for 2-3 weeks...maybe a bit longer. So...rather than try to live on the small tank in the motorhome and have to drive to refill every few days...

Has anyone sold their home to go full time in an RV?

We might be temporarily full-timing it...it seems we've sold out house...oops! Wasn't expecting it to sell so quickly... :o Lady was driving through the neighborhood, (senior manufactured home park) stopped me and asked if I knew of any houses for sale..."Oh, we're thinking about selling ours." ...

What does "replacement value" re. insurance mean exactly?

However they want to calculate it. USUALLY, (at least for cars/trucks, in my experience) they use a database of similar vehicles recently sold in your area...and that?s something that can be challenged if it?s too low...but not always.

    Wind Chimes

IMO, wind chimes can be pleasant enough for about 5 minutes...in a gentle.breeze, but more than that, they get annoying.
