Hi. The other day I noticed that i had left my pump switch in the "on" position with my water tank empty. Does this mean that it's time to shop for a new pump or is that ok?

In light of the fast-increasing gas prices, does anyone plan to reduce traveling this year? My RV gets horrible gas mileage and right now prices for regular here in Denver are about $2.08 a gallon. My plan this summer is just do local trips to the lake and what not, no major traveling. I refuse...
