    Where we weathered Hurricane Irma

Hangar is designed for 150MPH winds. Even though the eye passed right over us, winds were only around 80MPH. My fifth hurricane on the ground, with 97 in the air. Hindsight makes me wish I stayed home, but the RV was safer there than the storage lot...as were we!

    Where we weathered Hurricane Irma

The deputies were all pretty nice, except they were in no hurry to get their rigs out of the way to let me get home. The helos flew off fairly early, but SWAT, marine and emergency rigs were not to anxious to move their stuff.

    Where we weathered Hurricane Irma

Not mine. It is Lakeland Linder's airport (Florida). New home of the Hurricane Hunters. Uncle Sam rents it from them. Since the planes were evacuated to New Orleans there was plenty of space! Which filled up rather fast with county aircraft and vehicles of all shapes and sizes! See if you can...

    Where we weathered Hurricane Irma

My family and I passed the eye of Irma in our Winnebago 34V. Safe and sound with all the comforts of home.

Hello and I have a question

Do you have a tape measure? Measure from the top down to a point near the bottom. Then measure the point to the ground. Add them together and add a foot and you should be ok. Even the spec might be wrong after all. Tire size could have changed! Good luck.

Out of Curiosity, anyone heard of Winnebago Spectrum 2000

http://www.rvt.com/Winnebago-Spectrum-2000-1989-Lenoir-city-TN-ID5533108-UX142897 Looks pretty cool, but what I know about motorhomes, you could write in a very short book, with hundreds of blank pages. :)

    Cruise control switch

I have written Winnebago several times and always received a straight up answer on my 1999 Adventurer. I bet they can point you in the right direction. Winnebago also has very good documentation on their website. The schematics are top notch. I know you have a Ford, but Freightliner  and Cummins...

    Apache Village RV Consumer Fraud

Funny, I learned to type on a teletype back in the early 80's. It was always in caps when I had to pass a message to a distant station. No one ever complained about me screaming. Makes me wonder when the typing police, internet gods, or the overseers of web etiquette decided it was screaming...

    Outdoor entertainment table?

My shelf looks just like yours. I have a 1999 34V Adventurer. Here is the PDF page capture. Your parts break down should be there as well on Winnebago's site. Winnebago is very good with their archives.

Any pilots or aviation geeks out there?

Not a pilot, but I fly a lot in the back of the bus. Been keeping the coast safe from hurricanes since 2008. Can't even tell the storms apart anymore. Any related hurricane questions feel free to ask. Not a meteorologist, but sit next to them on the WP-3Ds and G-IV. Also get the cool equipment...

New to Rving and just got a "new" used RV

I bought a 1999 Adventure Pusher (34V) with zero knowledge about RVs. Googling the 34V both here on this website and others has been very helpful in model specific problems. I found Winnebago has very good documents on their website. You can also write them and they actually answer stupid...
