    Starting a Remodel

    Thank you so much!  My husband did a really good job on those projects.  We bought the faucet at a discount builder's store.  The one that was in the RV was plastic and had separate handles for hot and cold.  The single handle is so much better.  We did the same thing in the kitchen which I...

    They are not 12 volt.  They run off regular power when we are plugged in.  Hubby wired them to the electrical outlet nearby.  Works great.

    Jumping in with both feet! 1984 Southwind Eagle Makeover

    It is shaping up very nicely!  You are doing a great job.  We are out enjoying our remodeled rv now!  We had a little set back with a leak that has taken up all of today but nothing major enough to ruin the enjoyment of our new to us "road house'!  I'll be keeping an eye on your progress!  Good...

    let the fun begin

    Looks good. We had window leaks, too. We had to rip out two walls. Since we just bought our used rv, my hubby decided to seal all the windows. He took them out and reinstalled with new seals. Quite a job but worth it.

    They do take on a life of their own!  Seems every time we start something we find a surprise.  It is coming together though.  The floor went in today.  The finish work for the floor is tomorrow.  The galley countertop and the bath room counter have been faux painted a couple of times.  The first...

    Remove Sofas from Slide Out

    We're in the process of a remodel and we have removed our sofa.  We are replacing it with two Euro recliners with ottomans that we bought from Overstock.com.  They have separate ottomans so they would fit most slides.

    ChiefM, good luck on your school!  And thank you for your service!  The walls are painted and a faux granite finish has been started on the kitchen and bath countertops. I will post the finished product but this is a pic of the base coat and the first color.
