Ok, yes, mine is right near the entryway (stairwell) and it comes on automatically when plugged into shore power.

Thanks for the replies. Here's the deal, I plugged the rig into shore power last night. I checked the LED light panel on the inverted when I plugged into shore power and it showed between 10.5 - 15. Went and checked it this morning and the inverter LED showed the batteries at 10.5; it went down...

Once I plug the MH into shore power I can hear the converter kick on inside the rig. I'll see where the charge is in the morning, if it's even charging...

I need to charge my MH batteries. I have (4) 6 volt batts running parallel. I have a 12 volt smart charger here at home. Rather than using the generator to charge the battery bank, can I use the 12 volt charger for this? Logic tells me no, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

I did, however, order a used one that I found online for a back-up that I'll keep in the coach for when this one kicks the bed.

Thanks for the reply John. I'll first try and cycle it like you say. Really it's just the chassis one that's acting up, I was even thinking of keeping that one on all the time, can't think of anything that will draw power from the battery other than the small red light near the switches that...

Gary, yes they are momentary switches.

My battery disconnect switch panel has been acting up lately and I'd like to change it out, unless there is some way to clean the contacts.. I've been searching online and cannot find the correct replacement, does anyone know where to look for this style and maybe some pointers when it comes to...

And installing new injectors is a small task as well. I appreciate your input on the diesel vs. gas engine, but for what I use the MH for, a gasser makes perfect sense. Maybe one day I'll advance to a DP, but highly doubtful.
