    No More Roaming For TMHI

PureTalk uses AT&T networks and gets deprioritized when towers get congested. Their data plan is up to 30GB on a hotspot for $65.00 monthly. We can usually use this in a couple of hour. And that's the most expensive "unlimited" plan.

    No More Roaming For TMHI

Sorry, it used to be 50GB, a miss type. The current plans says unlimited based of Pam and Kevin's post HOWEVER, notice the Management over 100 GB. Read throttle, but to what. Inquiring minds want to know. Throttling usually means an unusable speed for anything other than email. When a provider...

    Emergency escape window

We keep a 4 step folding step ladder on the shelf above the propane locker. This can't be locked. Useful foe emergency climb ins, cleaning the windshield and other chores. Chuck

    Emergency escape window

These Youtubers all love to hear themselves talk. Ten minutes of them talking and one minute of useful information. Did anyone see Mac demonstrate anything about escaping a fire? I didn't. Our window is next to the bed so it's easy to climb out, just a fair way down to the ground. The roll up...

    No More Roaming For TMHI

Visible has been a mixed bag. Some have had great results while others, like myself, have had terrible results and finally dumped it. There are a lot of limitations so know what they are before you subscribe. First and foremost, what phones will work with it, not many, and what the limitations...

    No More Roaming For TMHI

I had Visible and it had so many problems I finally gave it up. And we don't have service where we live other than T-Mobile. Chuck

    No More Roaming For TMHI

Beginning May 8th T-Mobile will begin "Geofencing" their Home Internet service so there will be no more taking your router with you on the road. At the same time they will be offering a mobile service for, get this, $160.00 a month. If your caught with your router outside your home address area...

    Vandals

Unfortunately there will be those that think this kind of thing is OK because, well, they are only rocks. The end result will be that many of these pristine areas will be either off limits altogether or severely restricted because of the actions of a few idiots. We are seeing this happen more...

Beware Camco Water Heater Tank Rinser

I just left the plastic section in the heater. It was there for months with no ill affect. It finally washed out on its own when emptying the tank. Chuck

    Sea foam

If you're driving the latest and greatest or you use your vehicle every day you can probably get by OK. If your driving an older rig that sits for long periods of time or don't use your generator as often Seafoam helps a lot with another well known fuel additive called Ethanol. My genset carb...

    RV GPS

So you're driving across country in areas you have never been before and you don't know which roads to take but you know which roads won't have cell phone service to pre download maps? Just want to understand how that works? A dedicated RV Gps can be had for $300 to $400 or even less if you shop...

    Sea foam

Add it to our last gas tank, 6 to 7 cans, any time we will be parked for extended periods. Run the genset once monthly off this tank and never have problems with surging or failure to start. I have been using Seafoam for home and marine use for decades to keep my engines clean and smooth...

    Help with frightened cats

Let's not turn this thread into something about loose cats in your flower bed. The OP ask a good question. The issues with dogs in campgrounds is get worse every year from what we can see. Careless owners that feel the rules don't apply to them are the biggest problem. Our cat has been attacked...
