I replaced the fuel filter and pump on my generator, Onan 7000, now my generator runs but does not produce any electricity. What do I check second? I checked the circuit breakers, that did not have any effect.

It appears to be typical.  What amperage am I looking at?

Hi Everyone, When I turn on the water heater (electric 120), the switch has a light that comes on.  This light is very hot, at least hotter than I would like it to be. Is this normal or should I be concerned?  It has always been this way as far as I can tell.

My exhaust system is in need of replacement from the muffler back.  The rv dealership wants about $1200 to replace. That's too much Bob! I'm in Northeast OH. Custom shops work with 3" pipes, my motorhome workhorse chassis has 4" pipes. Any ideas how or where to proceed from here?

Well Mr. Campingnut, welcome to the forum. How often do you plan to use this TT?  What will your budget be?  Do you have something to tow it with?  So, do you think you may want to upgrade in a few years? What part of the country will you camp in?  Answering a few of these questions will help us...

Am I the only one who believes that there is a huge liability issue with driving down the road with those monitors on?  Talk about distracted driving! You would be giving all of those drivers who text and drive a run for their money.

Is the generator offering any fault codes?

RV tires need to be replaced, approximately in 7 years.  Covers do not change that time.  Not having covers does not change that time.  Therefore IMHO covers are not needed.

Frank, Are you looking for a mobile mechanic?  Do you need to take your rig into a mechanic?  Do you want a mechanic to look over a RV that you are thinking of buying? I think a little more information would make it easier to help you out.
