    Tires and PSI

I liked the "Accutire" device link--that really looks like what I was looking for...thanks!!  You can't beat it for $11.80!

    Tires and PSI

I always check my tires when cold and inflate them to the manufacturer's recommendation:  my unit is front tires are at 90, and 4 rear tires are at 80.  For the last three times I have done this, EVERY TIME I have had to remove pressure from the tires, as much as 10 pounds!  I didn't really...

"Q-Surround" Appears to Have Quit Working

Ok, the update is as follows:  the radio ALWAYS works with Q-surround system.  We starting "playing with" all the wires that go in and out of the VCR and digital converter and noticed that one of them is apparently bad, as jiggling them around all of a sudden the Q-surround kicked in for the...

A/C While Driving--for Driver and Passenger

'04 Itasca Suncruiser, 33V Workhorse Chassis Whenever it's hot, say above 80 degrees, the cab simply does not cool down enough to be comfortable.  Sometimes we actually seem to be getting hot air instead of air conditioning!!  On a just-completed trip, the only relief we got was a little cool...

"Q-Surround" Appears to Have Quit Working

Tried shutting off the speakers in the TV menu--and really couldn't find a way.  When I got into the audio menu, it was set to "stereo."  The other two settings you can select are "mono" and "SAP."  Neither of these selections made an impact.

"Q-Surround" Appears to Have Quit Working

New development:  I just realized that when I switch to "radio" mode the Surround sound is working!  I will have to start checking for loose wires relating to video, etc.--such as maybe the VCR, etc.  Ideas??

"Q-Surround" Appears to Have Quit Working

Have found the Q-Surround "box" tucked up under the passenger footwell.  Can't tell if it is getting power...I guess the next thing is to remove the "passenger tray" and get a good look at it.  Still hunting for the fuse as well...Thanks for the help on this so far!

"Q-Surround" Appears to Have Quit Working

We have the "Q-surround" system factory installed in our '04 Itasca Suncruiser.  The "Radio/TV" toggle button no longer seems to work, as we are getting ZERO sound from the surround speakers.  Any suggestions on what to check?  I can't find a thing in any of the manuals, etc. Thanks! Pat...

Covering up Screw Holes--Side of Dash

Hey--great ideas campers--that's why I love this forum!  I'm going to run some of these by the Big Boss and see what she thinks.  Just for fun, maybe the bullet hole stickers?  Compass is a good idea too!  It would be interesting to see if someone could do a really smooth repair on it and make...

Ideas on an Interior Rearview Mirror?

Makes perfect sense--and I meant to say I was NOT looking forward to drilling more holes!!

Covering up Screw Holes--Side of Dash

Hey there fellow RV-types!  I had a Sirius radio mounted to the side of the dash in our Class A RV--not important where but now that I have replaced it (we now stream radio instead and like it much better--and it's free!)--we have 2 (actually 4--apparently the installer goofed) screw holes that...

    Slides and Jacks Stopped Working

My local RV repair shop found there was some corrosion in the wires right at the HWH control panel, where you push the buttons to level.  They basically took that unit apart after realizing the current was good all the way through and found the issue--then lubed it all up with that special...

Update: How to Cover RV While Also Solar Charging Batteries

Just to update--we bought an excellent Adco cover--found it online cheaper than anywhere else and no tax!  We held our breath and cut a hole just a bit larger than the solar panel opening.  So far, it's been out there for about 4 months and no visible wear--as there are enough tie-downs, etc...

Ideas on an Interior Rearview Mirror?

Thanks Dutch--what a good easy solution!  I was looking forward to drilling holes, and I know these types of mirrors are mounted with sticky tape--which you could get off some day if needed!

Ideas on an Interior Rearview Mirror?

Hello out there in RV-Tech Land!  There are many times I would LOVE to see what is going on in the coach behind me while driving, but it is pretty tough to accomplish without taking your eyes completely off the road and swiveling around--not a safe maneuver!!  It seems a mirror is in order! ...
